NDB Crew Prepares for a Mega Week in Melbourne for PAX Australia 2025!
The countdown is on! From October 6th to 13th, the Nerd Degree Burn crew is taking over Melbourne for an unforgettable week of gaming, pop culture, nerdy nightlife, and a little friendly competition on the golf course.
🎮 PAX Australia 2025 – The Ultimate Nerd Pilgrimage
The heart of our Melbourne trip will be PAX Australia 2025, running October 10–12 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
We’re gearing up for:
- Hands-on with brand-new game releases – from AAA titles to indie dungeons
- Panels with developers, streamers, and industry legends
- Epic cosplay showcases and photo ops with pop culture icons
- Tabletop gaming marathons that stretch well past midnight
- Exclusive merch drops and collectibles you won’t find anywhere else
Expect live updates, behind-the-scenes snaps, and maybe even some surprise interviews with developers and creators as we roam the PAX show floor.
🕹️ Fortress Melbourne – Nerdy Nights Out
When the sun sets, the NDB crew will shift from PAX halls to Fortress Melbourne, Australia’s ultimate gaming and esports venue.
Planned highlights include:
- Casual nights in the LAN arena, facing off in old-school multiplayer classics
- The Fortress PAX Gala, where gaming culture meets Melbourne nightlife in one epic party
- Chill hangs at the Tavern, sipping gaming-inspired cocktails, (Health potions did a number on us last year!)
If you’re in town, come say hi—we’ll probably be the loudest table cheering after a nail-biting match in the arcade corner.
⛳ East vs West: Pax Major 2025 Golf Tournament
Before the PAX madness begins, we’re settling an annual East vs West rivalry on the green.
The East vs West Pax Major 2025 pits our team members from the East Coast of Australia against those from the West in an 18-hole showdown for glory.
What’s at stake?
🏆 The Pax Major Trophy
🍺 The ultimate reward – the losing team has to fetch all the beers for the rest of the week!
We’ll share live updates from the fairway, plus a full wrap-up on who claims bragging rights this year.
🏖️ The Aftermath – Monday Chill Session
After seven days of gaming, partying, and golfing, we’ll wind down with a relaxing Monday chill session on October 13th. Think recovery Korean BBQ, piece together the previous nights, and maybe one last quiet drink before heading back to reality.
